Tasks include: Assist monitoring efforts â¿¿ capture a collaring of female bears as directed by the IGBST; during spring summer and fall. Reduce bear/human conflicts â¿¿ work with landowners to assist in keeping livestock from bears, capture and relocate nuisance bears and remove such bears as necessary in consultation with the Service, assist landowners with electric fencing as needed, give outreach and education talks and presentations to the public; during spring summer and fall.
